Date : 29th July - 2nd August 2008
Hotel : Centara Kata Resort, Phuket.
This trip was a bit last minute planned. I was the one that came out with the suggestion to have this trip on our anniversary and as usual kalau bab jalan2 nie my dear hubby will just agree with me 
I must say it is very tiring going on a holiday with a baby & a toddler in tow without the bibik but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Rather than leaving them at home and me thinking of them all the time, it’s better to lug them around with me. Plus Aniq is still breastfeeding and after Shanghai, I kinda ‘serik’ to leave him too long. So what did we do?? Here’s the summary:
Day 1:
Went to the airport in the morning, and waited for our afternoon flight (12.35 PM). After 1 hour 15 minutes flight, we reached Phuket at 1PM Thailand time which is 1 hour slower than Malaysia time. We took a cab to transfer us from Airport to our hotel near the Kata Beach. The cab cost around 650 Baht from airport to our hotel. We rest at the hotel for 2 hours till around 5PM. Just enough time for a bath for everybody, suap budak2 makan and enjoying our pool view balcony facing the pool bar with all the Mat Salleh melepak with their bikinis & thong
At around 5pm++, we took a cab to Patong Beach as our first destination in Phuket because we wanted to survey/buy tour packages during our stay in Phuket. Reaching Patong just before dusk gave us the chance to witness the ‘transformation’ of Patong town..from the ‘quiet & innocent’ look streets (daytime), to a ‘live & loud’ streets (night time).

First we walked around Patong Beach, enjoying the view & sunset while ayah snapping2 a few photos. Then we decided to had our dinner first before we begin our package tour hunting. We had our dinner at one of the Halal Indian Restaurant at Patong Beach where I had Nasik Briyani Ayam & Basya had Nasi Briyani Seafood, Mc’D Happy Meal for Irdina & Mushroom Soup for Aniq. This simple dinner itself cost us around 820Bath (RM82) which we consider too damn expensive just for a plain Nasik Briyani. Tapi nak buat macam mana...dah makan dah punkan. Only after we had our dinner, we started our tour package hunting. We used the package rate that offered by our hotel as benchmark (we managed to ask around while waiting for the cab earlier). Mmg totally jauh lebih murah kalau beli kat sini compare kalau beli kat hotel and they even not charging us anything for Irdina (By rite budak 2 thn ke atas kene amek child pack) We bought Phi Phi Island Cruise Package (1100 Baht @ RM110/adult which includes free flows of coffee, tea & soft drink drinks & fruits on board & a buffet lunch), City Tour (800 Baht @ RM80 / adult) and Fanta Sea Package (1500 Baht @ RM150/ adult together with Buffet Dinner). Then we looked around some of the shops but didn’t buy anything. We took the cab driver advice not to shopping in Patong because regarding to him evertyhing is expensive in Patong compared to Phuket Town but as I'm writing this now, we are totally regret taking his advice. Later I explain why. We took a cab also back to our hotel. This had cost us another 650 Baht so in total return trip from our hotel to Patong Beach has cost us 850 Baht (RM85) eventho Patong is just about 15kms away from Kata Beach.Gila mahalkan transportation in Phuket. Even if we took tuk tuk it will cost us the same also so better amek cab jee for family traveller with small kids & stoller like us.

On the way back to hotel we passed by this new shopping mall called JungCeylon and we passes by the Bangla Road also where the nightlife is most happening in Patong. I think most of you guys know what I meant…Totally not a place to bring the kids  We had an early night because we had to get up early for our cruise to Phi Phi Island the next day.
Day 2 :
Happy anniversary to us We had to be up bright and early, because the van came to pick us up at 7.15am. Then we were brought to the jetty - about 40 minutes away. Boarded the boat not long after. We choose to take a big boat instead of taking the speed boat to Phi Phi Island since it was more suitable for family with small kids like us. Furthermore we could enjoy the free flows of drinks on board & used the wash room when ever we like and it was very clean too.
Our first stop was Phiphi Don Island, apparently we were not supposed to get off, the boat was only unloading the passengers who will be staying for the night in the island. After 10 mins, the boat left to continue with our island hopping or whats more appropriate was island sight seeing. There were 7 other islands within however, the tour was only for 2 islands. We stopped by at Maya Bay where ‘The Beach’ movie was shoot.It was so damn beautiful but of course before the 2004 tsunami, it probably was more beautiful then.

Around lunch time, the boat anchored near the Long Beach, another part of Phi Phi island. This time we had the choices to either snorkeling or going to the island via speedboat and have lunch in the island. Off course we choose to landed on the beach because we started to feel a bit sea sick already after spending 1 and half hour time on the boat especially basya We had our buffet lunch at the Island and then we were given a few hours for free activities. Believe it or not, this is the only time that where we stepped our feet on a beach & sea water along our stay in Phuket because we don’t have enough time to go to the other beaches in Phuket even the one that very close to our hotel. Lagipun Irdina & Aniq dua2 takut nak mandi laut. Even in Phi Phi Island nie pun..we just enjoy the scenery & taking photos. Everything here was so serene and gorgeous.Everything an island cruise should be. It was beautiful place afterall & Irdina really did enjoy herself playing with the sand. A very good way to celebrate our anniversary

After a long fun filled day, we finally made our way back to the hotel around 5pm. Since Irdina pun still in her swimming attire, we took both of the kids to the swimming pool and both of them really had fun sampai susah Ibu & Ayah nak pujuk naik bilik.

We had dinner that nite at a nearby restaurant to our hotel. We cannot find any Halal restaurant near to our restaurant so we just ate seafood only. After Dinner we decided to stopped by a massage centre to treat ourselves by taking turns. Kalau tak sapalah pulak nak babysit our kids. I had manicure & pedicure which cost only for 300 Baht @ RM30 while basya had a 1 hour foot massage for 200 Baht @ RM20 only. Nothing special tho with the manicure & pedicure. They just shorten & shaped your nail with a nail file & used the vaseline as cuticle remover cream. They offered colouring also but off course I would say no. I asked for Buffing but they seems not getting what I want. Hmm..No wonderlah murahkan..Better buat kat Nail Parlour, OU lagi eventho kene bayar mahal but puas hati. However, Basya did enjoy the foot massage a lot. Even I feel like having one myself. Esoklah kot.. sbb budak2pun dah start cranky sbb penat & mengantukk sgt2 dah.

Sin Yee was our Team Lead for the past one & half years after Mark. She has been chosen to be one of the Component Manager for Shell Retained Org. As friend, off course I do feel happy for her but personnally as DBA i feel sad to let her go. Now the DBA TL batton has been passed to Hana. So far Hana did a really great job leading & motivate us but it just wouldn't be the same without Sin Yee around

Tomorrow (30/7) is going to be our 4th wedding anniversary. We suppose to have a DBA Dine Out at Rakuzen, Chulan Square (near to Pavilion) last Sunday...but last minute on Friday one of the restaurant's crew called us and informed that the Sunday reservation for the buffer has been full since Wednesday, and we will be put on a waiting list eventhough they have accepted our reservation on Wednesday. Yg bengangnya diaorg sendiri yg confirm ckp that they have sufficient space and are able to accommodate all of us on the said date. Turn out last minute mcm nie pulak.So bad service for a famed restaurant. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable so we decided to cancel it instead of being in the waiting list walaupun almost everybody dah berangan nak makan japanese that weekend. But since myself & hubby mmg dah aim nak pegi area2 pavilion on Sunday, so we just proceed our day out to Pavilion sambil jalan2 carik makan kat sana.Just me & my hubby

We had lunch at Sari Ratu because basya was craving nak makan masakan Padang (Sbb tetiba dia teringat one of the famous masakan sumatera restaurant in Kelantan..Hoover ke apa ntah namanya) Kalau boleh sume lauk rasa nak order time tuh. Mmg lapar tahap dewa Dah kenyang..then baru both of us headed to Pavilion. Pusing2 punye pusing ended up dedua tak beli pape pun..just jalan2 cuci mata jee.Both of us dedua agree..mmg kalau nak shopping better pegi OU lagi rasanya lagi byk choices. Ok together with this entry, I just want to share a very intersting article that I read this morning, 7 signs your child loves you :

Org lain kalau pindah rumah siap sewa lori angkat sume tapi si fisha pindah takyah pakai lori pun..tak thrilllah sa ko tak rasa naik lori bawak barang2 tuh…Kekekekeke

Sampai2 rumah Aunty Fish tgk dah ramai org dah ada. Ada Aunty Jen & Fmy, Aunty Mazni & Fmy, Aunty Pidah with her nieces, Aunty Zaina & Fmy, Aunty Ah Fatt & Fmy, Aunty ‘Baby’ & ramai lagilah. Menu pun not bad..ada satay (sedaplah sa satay dia, lembut jee), nasik minyak with variety of lauk pauk, kueh mueh, chocolate cake, muffins, pudding apa ntah makan ngan cili sos, buah, kek lumut@horlick & mcm2 lagilah. Dah kenyang2 tuh, apalagi sessi mummy2 berposinglah ngan anak2..Then Aunty Mazni tak melepaskan peluang utk Open The ‘Box’ utk promote set2 kerongsang yg lip lap.. Rayanye lambat lagi tapi kitaorg dah setat membeli brg2 raya dah ekk

The next day pulak we all pegi Whiz Kids Carnival kat PWTC..punyelah ramai manusia kat sana sampai nak bergerak dlm tuh pun susah. Nampak ada stage Pa & Ma, ingatkan sempatlah nak tgk Final Pertandingan Bayi Comel Pa & Ma. Tapi tgk2 dah abis pulak..Tak sempat nak jumpa baby Arissa & her mum, Ina. Penat round2 Ibu pun layahlah krusi urut Gintel (betul2 sbelah stage Pa & Ma) sekejap while Ayah gi memborong magazine. Tetiba sorang mamat staff karangkraf approach Ibu, ajak Ibu & Irdina join Pertandingan mereke pakaian dari suratkhabar Pa & Ma. Dia ckp ramai contestants yg register tak dtg so diaorg nak cari backup. Ibu tanya Irdina nak masuk tak..Irdina kata nak pulak. Mengenangkan Irdina pun dah nak masuk, kenelah Ibu bagi supportkan..Biar expose sket jgn malu2..Good for her self confidence tul tak

Mmg totally bidan terjun masuk contest nie..satu tool pun tak bawak. Tgk org lain siap prepare bawak gunting, celotape, gam sume.Kitaorg bawak diri jeee….Nak design baju apa pun takde idea. Tapi since Irdina mmg suka princess so ibu pun nak designlah baju princess utk Irdina. Masa diaorg bagi setengah jam. Memula mcm lama jee rasa setengah jam tuh...rupanya kejap jee. Byk benda Ibu nak buatkan utk Irdina tak sempat langsung nak buat. Wand pun ala2 tak siap jee Guess what? Tak prepare tuh pun kitaorg dpt no 5.Kekekekeke..kelakar jekan. Irdina mmg sporting betul arituh..tak cranky langsung. Sampai balik pun sibuk nak pakai crown & wand yg Ibu buatkan lagi..Hehehhee.Berjasa Ibu buat ekk Tak sempat nak survey sume booth kat sini sbb abis jee contest Pa & Ma ayah dah ajak balik nak kejar main futsal kul 5.30. Tapi we all sempatlah sambar a few activity books & some hanged boards for Aniq & Irdina as souvenirs

SHELL IT ANNUAL DINNER 2008

Our last dinner with Shell
This is my second & last dinner with Shell (Last year punye tak pegi sbb takde geng & theme pun susah sgt nak carik baju ) Sedeylah jugak sbenarnya because I had a wonderful & great time as Shell Staff for the past 2 years. Never regret my decision to leave my normal hours job with Cargill and accept a shift basis job with Shell eventhough I received some obstructive feedback from some of my frens regarding my decision to jon Shell last time But now..starting from 1st July all Application Hosting department employees will move forward & start wearing a new badge.A T-System badge. However, nothing much change. We are still going to work in Shell building in Cyberjaya & support Shell but our payroll will be paid by T-System instead of Shell. Career growth wise, quite promising since we are the pioneer employees for T-System in Malaysia. I bet most of you guys out there never heard of T-System before..but I'm sure some of you familiar with T-Mobile right? T-System nie is like a sister company of T-Mobilelah based in Germany or if you're a big fan of F1, then you might notice the T-System logo on the BMW Sauber F1 car as T-System is one of their sponsors together with Petronas & Intel etc.

Back to the dinner story..This time tak susah nak carik baju because the theme very user friendly The theme is 'Influences of White'. So anything white would do.Mula2 nak pakai baju kawen jee tapi mmg confirm tak muat & alignment lari sana sini.Hehehehe So I just bought something that easy to mix & match,yg boleh pakai utk byk event & something yv still boleh pakai lagi walaupun alignment makin lari This time, I didn't win anything Seems like my lucky charm didn't work this time like last week. Actually none of the DBA Team member won anything that nite except for Chester who got 2nd place for SITI CBJ IDOL. Don't worry Chester, eventhough you didn't win the CBJ IDOL Title, you're still the winner in our heart

This is my third & last AH Appreciation Night with Shell. Why last? Because starting 1st July we’re going to be outsourced to T-System.This year AH Dinner the theme was Box Office..Esoknya nak dinner, the day before tuh baru kitaorg gi carik baju kat Superheroes shop at OU. Berminggu2 penat pikir apa nak pakailast2 we decide nak pakai Superman Tee & jeans jee since this is just a department dinner so malaslah nak pakai vonge2 sgt Why Superman? Because I’m a fan of Faizal Tahir..hehehehe taklah sbb Superman moviekan one of the Box Office movie. So kitaorg jadik Clark Kent & Louis Lane versi Malaysialah kengkonon This year dinner..I won a lucky draw for the the top 10 prizes. Walaupun adiah tak seberapa jee..tapi at least I got lucky that nite . Who knows next week SHELL IT punye dinner, I still have my lucky charm & I might win something big pulak ke

Irdina..we left her at my mom’s house. Before that konon nak pujuk dia supaya nak tinggal rumah nenek, kitaorg bawak dia pegi tgk wayang dulu cite Kungfu Panda kat TGV, Bukit Raja. FYI..this is our first attempt bringing Irdina to watch movie in the cinema & surprisingly Irdina did behaved very well and enjoyed the movie so much..So did us Just that dia adalah ala2 takutlah sikit masa the staff tgv padam lampu when the movie was about to start. The next day pulak, we attended basya’s ex-housemate (UTM), Genuk wedding at Selayang. Terjumpalah Rahmat & Wife (yg tgh preggie 8 months++), Amron and a few more basya’s frens which I cannot recalled their names. Masa nak pegi kenduri tuh..barulah terperasan dah lama tul rasa tak pakai baju kurung…Ada berbulan2 jugak rasa Mana taknye..gi ofis mmg ari2 pakai jeans & t-shirt jee. So rasa..ter’ayu’lah kejap arituh..To Genuk & Wife..Selamat Pengantin Baru & Welcome to the ' M' Club. Last Weekendkan Father’s Day..Eventhough it’s kind of a last minute plan on how to celebrate the day..but we did have a great one.Present awal2 dah ibu bagi..biasalah ibu kalau dah beli tuh mmg tak saba dah rasa nak bagi..Hehehehe After a lovey dowey morning with Ayah and the kids that morning, Ibu prosose kat Ayah nak main bowling ke or nak pegi tgk wayang walaupun rasa mcm tahu jee apa yg ayah akan pilih. My instinct was right..Ayah pilih bowling So ibu pun call atuk & nenek ajak diaorg join sama.

Atuklah paling best..mmg totally tak penah main bowling. Turn out atuk main not bad jugak rupanya. Ibu & Maksu arituh main mmg lubuk gila. Seratus pun dua2 game tak sampai…Kitaorg saje je kasik can kat para2 ayah nie menang..kan dik kan Nenek pun not bad rupanya..baru jee try skali baling dah terus spare. Nenek saje nie taknak tunjuk terror ekk. But I know my mom..My mom mmg sport woman pun..Kat kg tuh penuh piala my mom dalam showcase nenek masa skolah2 dulu. My mom nie pun jenis minat outdoor jugak..hiking, mountain climbing pun dia minat…tapi lama dah stoplah due to commitment to family kot..agaknyelah..hehehehe pepandai jee ibu
Lepas bowling, call Pakcik soh pakcik siap2 join kitaorg lunch. Pakcik keje night shift the night before sbb tuh tak join skali we all main bowling so that he can catch his rest first. Lagipun pakcik act jee bila kitaorg ajak main bowling..Dia ckp bila kitaorg sume score 150 above baru ajak dia main. Ceh..Sabar jelah My brother mmg hantu bowling. Siap menang Best Player masa Cargill Bowling Tournament baru2 nie. Then we all went to Bumbu Bali kat Bandar Puteri Puchong. Bumbu Bali is a nice Balinese theme restaurant. It's also a home decor shop. If you like to have some Bali handcraft for your home and yet you're not allow to go to Bali, you can get it from here. But off courselah be expect to pay the price different. The food here are great. For me, it’s a restaurant that actually offer the right amount of food for the price that they charged and with a very nice bali style ambience. Look at the photo of the foods that we ordered. Do I need to say more? Everyone enjoyed what they had ordered except for Maksu. Her drink called Ice Blended Hazelnut Vanilla tasted like Milo Ice Blended which lagi sedap yg kedai Nenek Su buat lagi kot..Kekekeke..tuhlah dik lain kali jgn order yg pelik2 sgt.Kekekekeke  For the food, my recommendation would be Nasi Campur Bumbu Bali which what Ayah ordered. The most special one in this Nasi Campur would be the lemongrass satay. Minced meat is wrapped around a stalk of lemongrass then barbecued like satay.Absolutely wonderful. Mine one also very nice, Chicken & Lamb BBQ Combo especially the mashed potato that comes with the set. Terasa sume rempah ratus dia.Yummy

After late lunch at Bumbu Bali..sambung pulak lepak rumah nenek makan cuppies…Nyum2. Thanks anna for the kiut design..Cuppy yg ada gamba Irdina, Irdinalah abis makan..opss makan krim jee. Yg ada gamba Ibu, off course Ibu bagi the privillege kat ayah makankan.Hehehehe

To my hubby the father of my Irdina & Aniq & to Ayah..Happy Father’s Day. Both of you are the most important man in my life. Abang..you really complete me. There are a lot of things that you did for the kids & me that make me so proud & touch. Don’t think I need to mentioned all of them here but I just want you to know that I appreciate each one of them.

To Ayah..you have been always with me during my up & down time dari julie kecik sampailah dah besar beranak dua nie. Eventho sometime you still treat me like your little ‘ baby’ girl (remind so bayar income taxlah, remind soh bayar zakatlah, belikan my favourite aiskrimlah etc) but I know that’s because you loves me so much and I want you to know that I love you too. You are always there when we need a helping hand tak kiralah utk masalah sekecik mana & yg seremeh mana pun. Kalau ayah nak tahu, sampai skrg kalau julie dgr lagu ‘Butterfly Kisses – Bob Carlisle’ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgZftrobqlg) tuh mesti nati julie sebak. The lyrics of the song reminds me of you, as like you singging the song to me. It has been one of my favorite song for years. Resdung Treatment
This is something that out of topic that I want to share with you guys.The night before all us including my mom, dad ngan sister pegi berubat resdung kat Meru. I have a pretty bad sinus tapi bukan yg jenis byk2 jerawat tuh. Mine is slalu gatal hidung, mata, telinga & tekak sampai kalau dah teruk sgt mmg jadik demamm & sakit kepala. It was totally an experience for us. Mana taknye first time kitaorg sume lihat sendiri cane rupa ulat resdung tuh. I watched myself from beginning masa akak tuh buat treatment kat my hubby. Mmg nampak ulat tuh kuar dari pipi, hidung sume..Merenyam2 rasa. I tot that mine one would be a lot. Turn out, mine not so many compared to my hubby & fatin. Malam tuh jugak before we went to bed, akak tuh soh sapu bedak sejuk dia campur dgn limau nipis yg dia dah buatkan utk kitaorg sorang satu utk stok seminggu. Bila sapu kat muka tuh..mak aii merenyam2 rasa hidung, pipi sume. Berdenyut2 pun ada..air pun tak berenti2 kuar dari hidung. Maybe tuh side effect dia kot nak bagi baik. Next treatment, we plan to go there this Friday. Regarding to some of them yg dah penah completekan the whole 3 treatments kat sana. 2nd time nanti lagi byk ulat kluar tau..Eww…but if this can really cure my sinus..why notlahkan (ulat2 tuh pun halus2 jee mcm benang tapi bergerak2 mcm cacing kerawit.Gamba takde sbb kamera tak bawak pulak arituh.Will update more pasal our next visit somewhere next week kay

Last 2 weeks all of us together with Sasa, Bai, Mazni &her daughter Maisarah went to Mauze’s house to see her new born baby. Yus & Family ada tapi kene balik cepat sbb ada hal sempat masa sampai jee..pastu salam2 nak balik dah. This is mauze & azam's third one & it’s a boy. Name is Aqil Danish..Hehehe. Dekat 3 jam lebih melepak umah mau, sampai dah jadik nursery dah umah mau dgn ragam budak2…especially Irdinalahkan yg asyik nak menyelongkar toys sis Nurin. Sian nurin terpaksa beralah sokmo. This is Irdina & Aniq 3rd birthday celebration at Mcdonalds this year. First arituh birthday aisya, then Irdina & Aniq & now Uncle's Aiman birthday..Mcdonalds has always been among Irdina's favorite place so mmg dia takkan penah boring punye dtg sini pun.Uncle Aiman nie counsin Ibu..yes, I still have a lots cousin yg kecik2.Ibu antara cucu2 yg terawal dalam family Nenek. To be exact, cucu no 3 but the first girl grandchild in the fmy So now in total Ibu ada 30 cousins lepas tolak Ibu, Pakcik & Maksu. Ini tak campur belah atuk tau..Belah atuk lagilah Ibu dah lost count dah

Irdina & Aniq had so much fun that day..Byk game Irdina dpt main (off courselah with some help from Ibu ) & mcm2 goodies Irdina & Aniq dpt.bayangkan Aniq tido kul 1AM++ & Irdina tido pukul 2AM++ hari tuh sbb lps acara kat Mcd we all sume sambung lepak kat rumah Nenek Dah sembang tak hengat. Yelah skali skala jumpakan..Lagipun Nenek Dah & family akan berangkat balik semula ke Jakarta on that same weekend..Diaorg balik kejap jee kat sini balik nak settlekan Visa sambil celebrate birthday Aiman skali.Unfortunately..masa nie Nenek, Atuk & Maksu takde sbb diaorg tgh fly back to Malaysia..Esoknya kul 6PM diaorg sampai..Yippie
